It's that time of year again! The City of Wilson is gearing up for Spring Clean Up Week for all of its residential customers. From April 24-28, residents can take advantage of this special opportunity to rid their homes and yards of unwanted items. Just remember to place everything behind the curb, three feet from any trees, mailboxes or utility poles, and make sure to keep them away from storm drains, gutters and sidewalks.
To make the process go as smoothly as possible, be sure to separate your garbage from other items. The waste management team will be collecting furniture, bulky items, appliances and other "White Goods", compost and yard waste, as well as tires and junk. Keep in mind that construction debris won't be collected, so be sure to dispose of those items through other means.
Spring Clean Up Week is a unique opportunity to give your home and yard a fresh start for the new season. So get those unwanted items off your property and take advantage of this free service!
