The last full week of April is designated Spring Clean-Up Week in the City of Wilson. Normal rules for collection are waived except that car frames and construction debris are not picked up. It is not necessary to call in or submit to Fix-It Wilson for bulky item pick-up during this time. Other specific events happening during Spring Clean Up week:

Shredding Event – May 1; 1501 Ward Blvd (Old Wilson Mall) near Abrams in the vacant parking lot; 10:00 am - 2:00 pm 

Electronic Drop-off – May 1; 1501 Ward Blvd (Old Wilson Mall) near Abrams; 10:00 am - 2:00 pm 

• Tv’s, computers, microwaves, printers, etc
• No cell phones and nothing busted (i.e. back off of tv, cracked screens, nothing in multiple pieces)

Mulch giveaway – May 1; Toisnot Park; 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
