Join Mayor Stevens to celebrate the opening of a new section of the Hominy Creek Greenway. The Wilson Police Department will give away 50 adult and child bike helmets.

Immediately following the ribbon cutting, the Fike High School Cross Country Team will lead a one-mile fun run. Bikers, walkers and runners are all welcome. 

The Hominy Creek Greenway will stretch from Williams Day Camp to US 301 once it is complete. The project is both a recreation amenity and a water quality effort to improve Hominy Creek.
